Green Belt is under threat from the Conservatives

Green Belt

Whatever they say in their leaflets, under the Conservative White Paper Planning for the Future, the green belt is under threat. It will need to be recategorized (refer to the response to Joy Morrissey's question in Parliament on Nov 23rd 2020).

Stepping away from a compromise on the Local Plan leaves the area with no protection against speculative development.

Now the Conservatives in Aylesbury intend to prevent 11 residents objecting to a planning application. Objections can only be done by a Conservative councillor. They propose to stop even telling residents about local planning applications.

Have a look at Buckinghamshire Councils proposed planning process and make your objections in their survey until March 22nd 2021. And remember that 'may' also means 'may not' so there are a lot of information on development applications that you will never hear about until too late.
